Typing Hindi text for using in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc

I was struggling with typing Hindi for using in Adobe InDesign.

Here is how I did it :

1.
Typing in Hindi (If I know the exact Hindi word):
1. Go to https://www.google.com/intl/hi/inputtools/try/
or
https://www.google.co.in/inputtools/try/ and select Hindi

 2. Type the Hindi words using English keyboard (QWERTY).  Eg: you type mahatma gandhi in English and it will show "महात्मा गाँधी" in hindi.

Translate and then typeset in Hindi:
If you want Translation, then go to https://translate.google.com/?hl=hi
Eg: If I type 'Independence Day" it will show स्वतंत्रता दिवस

2.
After composing the hindi text in Google, select the text and paste it in the text box of the document you have in Adobe InDesign/Illustrator. First time you paste it,it will show rectangular boxes with X in it. Don't worry!

3.
Select the text.

4.
Change the font to any Unicode enabled Devanagari Font like EkMukta. You will see Hindi text now, but some mistakes will be visible.

5.
Go to "Type" in the top menu bar of Indesign.

6.
Select "Paragaraph Style" or press the key F11.  Select Justification.  Go to "Compose".  Select "Adobe World-Ready Paragraph Composer"

7.
 Save the Paragraph Style

Bingo ! All the words will show up exactly how you did it in Google!
